IMHO, Chrome isnât any better apart from UI tweaks & V8 JS engine. Separate process per tab is a part of IE8 too. But the total memory used is real BIG. V8 is opensource, if Mozilla wants it, they can pick it. Infact, Firefox 3.1 has a better JS engine than the V8.

Chrome is good but still I go with firefox 3( and i am typing this from IE 7 :D )

What remains to be seen is if Google manages to lure users use C* as their desktop as some pundits predict. IMHO, iGoogle was on similar lines but never caught up. I still like my apps on my PC .

Unless you are a JS Junkie, you'll not realize the speed diff btw FF & Chrome.

How abt apps that masquerade as native, but does HTTP GETs in the background? :) You'll never know, until your network connection gets snapped.
