  • heey..this is a cool one Ranjhith.. but what surprises me is this was invented in 1919 but doesnt seem to have made a big headway..in the sense doesnt seem to be a popular instrument..but good to know about this ..cheers..

    Vaanga & வணக்கம்! Yep! Pretty old instrument. But the innovation here is that the NearField/Antenna concept being used for a musical instrument.

    Probably because its too hard to play & requires much concentration. The artist in that video says it all. Check how still she is. You can't even tap a foot or bang your head for your own music that play. :)
  • Hey! I have seen a similar kind of instrument in the Science Center at San Diego, sometime back. Was playing with it producing different sounds... :)
